Dear FCBIA Home Show Exhibitors and FCBIA Members,

We were excited and optimistic to be able to offer a rescheduled 2020 Home Show for our Members and the Frederick Community in lieu of our March 2020 Home Show which was postponed due to the outbreak of Covid-19. Over the past several months, we have been working diligently to design and coordinate the rescheduled event. The FCBIA Board of Directors and Staff felt confident, that with the implementation of all recommended safety measures, an exceptional 2020 Home Show could be held.

However, I regret to inform you that after much deliberation the FCBIA Board of Directors has made the difficult decision to cancel the rescheduled 2020 Home Show, slated to be held at the Frederick Indoor Sports Center (FISC) on September 19-20, 2020. Please understand that this decision was not made lightly. The recent surge in the COVID-19 pandemic infection rates has jeopardized our ability to hold this event safely. At all the times, the health and safety of our Members and the Frederick Community remains our utmost concern. Therefore, we will continue to follow and implement the guidance and mandates of the local health department and Governor Hogan in support of this effort.

Immediately in response to the postponement of our Home Show in March, the FCBIA Staff developed a Virtual Home Show to help market our exhibitors’ businesses. This Virtual Home Show can be found at We will continue to market the Virtual Home Show and we encourage you to share this on your social media pages.

If you have committed to participate in the September 19-20 Home Show, your booth reservation will be rolled over to our March 20-21, 2021 Home Show. More details will follow in the upcoming weeks. We appreciate your continued support through this unprecedented time.  In the meantime, please reach out to me or FCBIA Staff if you have any questions or concerns.

Tracie L. Clabaugh, President

On behalf of the FCBIA Staff and Board of Directors
